Emperador brings to the Philippines ‘limited edition’ Presidente Brandy

Limited numbers of bottles of the iconic Spanish brand will soon be available at select retail and online outlets nationwide

The world’s largest brandy company Emperador, Inc. celebrates a new chapter in the history of the Philippines with the limited edition release of Presidente Brandy.

National elections in the Philippines have always been a big deal for Filipinos who showed high political interest in this year’s polls. This was validated by a huge number of voter turnout of 55.5 million people, which translates to 82.6% of registered voters.

"With the intention to celebrate the incoming presidency in 2022, we conceived this project as far back as 2020. For us, this represents a new era of growth and reflects the resilience of the Filipino people amidst the current global challenges,” says Luke Polintan, Head of Premium Brandy, Emperador, Inc.

Presidente Brandy was expertly crafted in Spain by the world-famous brandy house of Pedro Domecq. Emperador Inc. commissioned Sr. Manuel Valcarcel, master blender in Jerez dela Frontera, Spain, to create a brandy that celebrates the victory and success of the Filipino nation.

Vibrant and youthful, Presidente Brandy has notes of caramel toffee, dried raisins, orange marmalade, and a subtle hint of luscious chocolate. The iconic brandy is delicate, velvety, and extra smooth on the palate. It is versatile, and can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or mixed with soda.

Limited numbers of Presidente Brandy bottles will be available for sale at select retail and online outlets nationwide this month.

Emperador, Inc. took control of Casa Pedro Domecq in 2017. A publicly listed company at the Philippine Stock Exchange, Emperador Inc. also owns Emperador Distillers, Inc., Scotch whisky maker Whyte and Mackay Group, and Bodegas Fundador in Spain.
