"Rather that diversifying into other businesses, which may not be within our core competence, we will focus our energy on strengthening and growing our existing businesses/"

Record-breaking net profit for AGI at P23 billion in 2013

Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) reported another banner year in 2013 with net profit amounting to P23.1 billion, up almost 13% from P20.5 billion in 2012. Consolidated revenues also grew to P123.4 billion, posting a 21% year-on-year increase from P102.1b.

Alliance Global Group Inc. 9-month net profit soars 42% to P19.2 billion

Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) reported strong financial results for the first nine months of 2013, with net profit amounting to P19.2 billion, up 42% from P13.5 billion in the same period of 2012. Consolidated revenues also grew to P93.4 billion during the period in review, posting a 19% increase from P78.3 billion last year.
“The group’s financial performance is unprecedented. Our strategy of remaining focused on each of our businesses continues to pay off and we remain confident that AGI will continue to reach higher levels of profitability in the long term,” said Kingson U. Sian, president and chief operating officer.
Alliance Global net profit soars 34% to P11.3b in 1H 2013

The Andrew Tan-led Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) reported strong results for the first six months of 2013, with its net profit amounting to P11.26 billion, up 34 percent from P8.41 billion in the same period of 2012. Consolidated revenues also grew to P61.08 billion in the first six months of 2013, a 19 percent increase from P51.19 billion.
“All our major businesses continue to perform well within our expectations. We are confident that we can sustain our robust growth for the rest of the year,” said Dr. Andrew Tan, chairman of AGI.
Net income attributable to AGI shareholders reached P8.26 billion, up 44 percent from P5.73 billion in the same period last year. AGI’s growth was led by its main subsidiaries Emperador Distillers Inc., Megaworld Corporation, and Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., which collectively contributed 81 percent of the P8.26b earnings.
Alliance Global profits hit P4.91 B, up 18 percent in 1Q 2013

The Andrew Tan-led Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) reported strong results for the first three months of 2013, with its net profit growing to P4.91 billion, up 18 percent from P4.15 billion a year ago.
Consolidated revenues also grew to P30.39 billion in the first three months of 2013, a 25 percent increase from P24.38 billion.
“We believe the current macroeconomic conditions will contribute positively to our various businesses, from consumer and property to BPO and tourism—all growth drivers of the Philippine economy. These businesses will hit double-digit growth in revenues and net profits,” said Dr. Andrew Tan, chairman of AGI.
Emperador expects to dominate the global brandy market

Emperador Distillers Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alliance Global Group Inc., expects its sales volume to double in five years. Emperador is currently the world’s largest-selling brandy brand in the world with a sales volume of 31 million cases in 2012.
Jorge Domecq, Managing Director of Emperador International Ltd. said, "We hope to have 33 percent of the world’s brandy market within five years. In that time, out of three bottles of brandy sold on this planet, one bottle will be Emperador. We are rapidly pursuing our international expansion and we expect to sell Emperador to more countries.”
